Welcome to China Garden Restaurant, a hidden gem located at 450098 FL-200 in Callahan, Florida. Nestled in this charming town, China Garden has carved a niche for itself as a go-to destination for Chinese cuisine enthusiasts. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for family dinners, casual outings, or even takeout for those cozy nights in.
When it comes to the menu, China Garden Restaurant offers an impressive variety of dishes that cater to every taste bud. Signature dishes such as Honey Walnut Chicken, Kung Po Chicken, and Sesame Chicken showcase the restaurant’s commitment to delivering vibrant flavors. I was particularly impressed by the Generals Tso’s Chicken, which several customers raved about. With just the right amount of spice, it's a dish that demands attention and will leave you wanting more. The shrimp and beef dishes, like Shrimp Chow Mein and Szechuan Beef, indicate that the restaurant embraces both seafood and meaty delights, ensuring something for everyone.
The reviews from loyal patrons echo a common sentiment: the food is consistently delicious and generously portioned. Richard Sluder humorously remarked, "Best mystery meat around," while also expressing his love for the restaurant’s spring rolls—an item that many agree should be available in family packs. This highlights the restaurant's understanding of comfort food, capturing the hearts (and stomachs) of its customers.
While some reviews hint at minor areas of improvement, particularly in cleanliness, the overwhelming warmth and friendliness of the staff shine through. Chris Dekle noted that the food is always hot and fresh, suggesting that despite any shortcomings, the essence of China Garden remains intact: a welcoming atmosphere paired with delectable meals. Bethany Crocker emphasized the ability to leave the restaurant satisfied, providing more than just a meal but a fulfilling experience.
In conclusion, China Garden Restaurant is not just about dining; it's about celebrating flavors and memories. So, if you find yourself in Callahan, make sure to indulge in the delightful offerings at China Garden—where every bite is a taste of happiness.

Best mystery meat around. I could eat their plain rice as a meal. Spring rolls should be sold in family.pack so I can take them home and freeze them and pull out a couple at a time as I want them. 12spring rolls - 6 no problem. I always get the s1 The general taso's chicken . When I order it i tell them "hurt me" and they really kick.the spice in. And s1. A couple extra spring rolls. A poo poo plater for 2... like 21.00 That's dinner and another dinner. Love it.

Food is amazing here and the people who work here couldn't be any nicer. Love coming here besides the place being a bit dirty.

The food is always amazing here. I personally love the Generals and noodles. The crab rangoon, house rice, wonton soup and donuts are also favorites. You don't leave hungry!

The food is always hot and fresh. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

They've had to raise prices over the past few years. I know. Inflation stinks. But they certainly haven't skipped on quality and quantity. I got a poo poo platter and a reg prok fried rice. I ate my fill. And easily have enough for 2 more meals. I actually spent alot of time inJapan. The food here is pretty on point. As for recommendations, ask for a spicy general tso's. That's my go to.

I got exactly what I ordered, and it is damn good, I drive over the road and I will definitely stop here again for the black pepper chicken lo mein, half the places I got to say they don't have it or just won't make it. They were fast on making it too, I give em I'll be back

We drive all the way from Georgia for this Chinese food. It's the best in 30 miles or more! We literally bypass all Yulee Chinese offerings, too, just to go here.

This place is so good that my family and I drive an hour to get it. Never disappoints whether it is food or service. Always fast when it comes to preparing and food is always delicious. The staff is really nice which is refreshing since most of the other Chinese restaurants near me are quite rude.
